Application Specific Resistor Solutions
In some applications design compromises to accommodate a standard resistor are just not an option. Extreme environments or reliability constraints can be beyond the capability of ‘off the shelf’ components. Where there is a resistor design or application issue TSEC deliver application specific resistor solutions.
Specialists in thick film power resistor, high voltage resistor, resistor networks and heater resistor design and manufacture we provide the advice and support required to ensure the best resistor device is delivered for any given application.
With a long custom thick film resistor manufacturing and design heritage we manufacture all products in our UK based facility in low to medium volume. We support both new designs and legacy projects with form, fit and function replacements for obsolete devices.
Thick Film Resistor Technology
Our products are based on thick film resistor technology as it is mechanically robust, has excellent thermal properties and low inductance (high frequency). The technology is also comparatively cheap and has high resistance density (small size).
Our custom thick film resistor products can be found in a wide range of demanding applications including motor control, surge protection, dynamic braking, load banks, sensors, Gyroscopes, military (RADAR), medical devices, racing cars and specialist laboratory equipment. We deliver both single devices and network resistors capable of withstanding a range of environments from standard commercial to those involving both high temperature and mechanical stress. More information on resistor technology and applications is available on our Blog page.
